I woke, as I do most mornings, to the gentle stirring of one of my dogs, eager to be let outside. The world was still dark, the birds yet to sing. With a cup of tea in hand, I settled in to write my morning pages, reflecting on what to share next.
April is a time of rapid growth—everything surges forward, demanding attention. The garden, the house renovations, the preparations for Easter guests—all teeter on the edge of balance. There is always the practical to tend to, mirroring the rhythms of life itself. But beneath the surface of this busied quiet lies something deeper—a way of living that extends beyond the seasons, one guided by intuition and flow.
I’ve rarely written about this, perhaps out of fear that it might feel out of reach for those caught in the noise of daily demands. But this is precisely for those who sense there is another way—who feel overwhelmed, unable to hear, yet know, somewhere deep inside, that a different rhythm exists, waiting to be reclaimed.
I have shaped my life around quiet, creating space to receive the subtle signs and visions that guide me. Looking back, I can trace the messages that first appeared in my twenties—visions of a life immersed in writing, photography, and nature, in an unusual location far from where I grew up. At the time, they made no sense, yet here I am, living in an old house in rural France, surrounded by beauty and stillness. And what I’ve come to realise is that what is meant for you will find its way, even if you don’t yet see the connections or turn away at first.
But how do we trust this kind of guidance in a world that moves so fast, urging us to build identities, or follow structured plans, seeking validation from the outside? The challenge is not just in hearing the messages but in trusting them—allowing intuition to lead, as a quiet influence, even when it defies logic or expectation.
Living in flow requires letting go of force and intellect to let a new truth reveal itself through synchronicities, intuitive nudges, and symbolic moments.
When we reflect, we can listen and discern the difference between choices driven by fear, ambition, or the need for certainty and those that arise from a deep, inner knowing. This way of living demands patience and trust, inviting the unfolding conversation within us to reveal the steps forward.
This way of being is also not passive or about opting out but about connection and getting close enough to ourselves so that we can nurture inner knowing through practices that encourage awareness and the asking of meaningful questions as we write morning pages, sit in stillness, move through Yoga, or find calm in breathwork, and meditation.
This is the space I offer through my work. Whether through Coaching, 30 days of live Yoga, or immersive well-being Retreats, these experiences help you step away from the noise and reconnect.
Please join me this Sunday as we explore how writing our thoughts down, deepens our listening skills…
