As September rolls in, the summer leaves a lasting and fulfilling mark having spent my time with lovely women, hosting and welcoming them to Little French Retreat to Rest, Replenish & Re-imagine on a week-long retreat, for those at a crossroads coming to terms with the loss of a loved one, the end of a marriage or partnership, an empty nest, or needing time to understand and adjust to mid-life changes.
Each retreat is an invitation to pause, reflect, and rediscover what it means to live a balanced and meaningful life, with a holistic approach to nourishing your body, mind, and spirit through the ancient practices of yoga and Ayurveda. It’s a journey of self-discovery and healing, set against a serene backdrop that encourages deep contemplation, meaningful conversations, and a reconnection with oneself and others.
Key Highlights of the Retreat:
Daily Yoga and Meditation: We begin each day with a grounding meditation and breathwork session, followed by morning and evening yoga practices. These sessions, tailored to all levels, focus on restoring balance, enhancing flexibility, and deepening your connection with your body.
Ayurvedic Nutrition: We savour delicious, wholesome meals prepared according to Ayurvedic principles. These meals support gentle detoxification, boost energy levels, and leave you feeling nourished from the inside out.
Cultural Excursions: I share the special places I love to visit for their unique culture, with a visit to a nearby thermal spa for relaxation and rejuvenation, an antique village rich in history and vintage clothes shops, and a delightful brunch at an Ayurvedic café that combines traditional flavours with modern culinary creativity.
Nature and Reflection: You can experience the tranquillity of the countryside with guided walks through scenic landscapes. These peaceful strolls provide the perfect opportunity for reflection, helping you to reconnect with nature and yourself.
Group Coaching and Community: Engage in group coaching sessions designed to help you integrate the principles of yoga and Ayurveda into your daily life. These sessions, combined with the shared experience of the retreat, foster a sense of community and provide a supportive space for personal growth.
